Consider fostering or adopting today. Give these sweet dogs a home. We believe every dog deserves a chance at a happy, healthy life, and we’re committed to making that a reality.

Angel Dog Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue headquartered in Naperville, Illinois. Founded in 2023 by Teresa Ryan, we pull dogs from the country’s most overcrowded, highest-kill shelters, get them vetted and cared for, and place them in foster and adoptive homes throughout the Chicagoland area and beyond. Foster placement is always our goal. When foster homes are not available, dogs stay safe with trusted partners while we work to find them families. Since our founding we have rescued dogs from shelters in Illinois, California, Georgia, Texas, Alabama and Missouri.

Adoption & Foster Applicant Requirements

To ensure the best future for our dogs, applicants must be 21 years of age or older, have stable employment, and the financial means to provide proper care for a pup.

If you are under 21 or living with your parents, we kindly ask that a parent or guardian complete the application on your behalf.

Our goal is to make sure every dog finds a safe, stable, and loving home. Thank you for understanding and helping us give these pups the futures they deserve.

What is Angel Dog Alliance?

Angel Dog Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue based in Naperville, Illinois. We rescue dogs from high-kill shelters across the country, provide veterinary care and safe housing, and place them in foster and adoptive homes. We were founded in 2023 by Teresa Ryan.

Where are your dogs located?

Most of our adoptable dogs are in foster homes or with partners in the Naperville and greater Chicagoland area. Some dogs are still in their origin states, like California, awaiting homes.

How do I meet a dog?

Start by browsing our adoptable dogs and submitting an application. We also hold regular adoption events at local pet stores in Naperville and the Chicago suburbs where you can meet dogs in person. Upcoming events are listed on this page and on our Facebook page.

How can I help if I can’t adopt right now?

Fostering is the single most valuable thing you can do, because every foster home lets us pull another dog from a shelter. If fostering isn’t possible, donations fund veterinary care, boarding, food, and transport, and sharing our dogs’ posts genuinely helps them get seen.
