Angel Dog Alliance places dogs in foster and adoptive homes throughout Chicagoland and beyond. Browse the dogs below, and when one catches your eye, click their profile to apply for them directly, or use the general adoption form and we will help you find your match.

How It Works

Apply. Submit an application for a specific dog from their profile, or fill out the general adoption form and tell us about your home, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for.
Get matched. Our adoption team reviews your application and reaches out. We’re honest about each dog’s personality, energy, and needs, because the right match matters more to us than a fast placement.
Meet your dog. Meet and greets happen at our adoption events or by arrangement once you are approved for adoption.
Welcome them home. Remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your
routine, and 3 months to feel fully at home. Your new friend needs time
to realize this fresh start is forever.

Adoption & Foster Applicant Requirements

To ensure the best future for our dogs, applicants must be 21 years of age or older, have stable employment, and the financial means to provide proper care for a pup.

If you are under 21 or living with your parents, we kindly ask that a parent or guardian complete the application on your behalf.

Our goal is to make sure every dog finds a safe, stable, and loving home. Thank you for understanding and helping us give these pups the futures they deserve.

Adoption Questions

What are the requirements to adopt?

Applicants must be 21 years of age or older, have stable employment, and have the financial means to care for a dog. If you are under 21 or living with your parents, a parent or guardian should complete the application on your behalf.

How much is the adoption fee?

Adoption fees vary by dog. Each dog’s profile has the details.

Do you adopt to homes outside Naperville?

Yes. We place dogs throughout the Chicagoland area and beyond. Tell us where you’re located in your application and we’ll let you know what’s possible. We currently have dogs waiting in the Chicago metro area, California and in Georgia.

The dog I want is in another state. How does that work?

Once you’re approved, we coordinate their transport to Illinois (ask about transportation fees). Adopters have welcomed dogs from as far away as California this way.
